As a means of enhancing Bangladesh's competitiveness in the garment and textile industry, Sadia Textile has established Textile Testing Services Limited (TTSL). The Textile and Garment sectors are playing a vital role in Bangladesh's economy. This industry generates almost 80% of the total export business for Bangladesh. Presently in Bangladesh, there are some accredited laboratories like BV, ITS, SGS, MTS, TUV, UL, KOTITI, labTEX, CTL, etc.

With the growth of the industry, laboratory services in Bangladesh have not grown considerably. In order to make Bangladesh competitive in all spheres of the garments and textile industry, the management of DBL Group has taken the initiative to set up TEXTILE TESTING SERVICES LIMITED (TTSL) to further strengthen the laboratory service in Bangladesh. This laboratory is set up in the garment & textile zone to provide prompt service compared to other laboratories which are city-based.
